Enjoy the best of Hood Canal at Sunshine Point!  This spacious, two level home sits right on the water's edge, where you can savor the panoramic Hood Canal and Olympic Mountain views from nearly every room in the house.  Large outdoor deck for added enjoyment or just relaxation expands this already large home.  At low tide you can walk down the stairway in the bulkhead to the private beach to stroll, dig clams or gather oysters for your evening meal. Try your luck at fishing right from the deck or bulkhead or, after a refreshing swim in the Canal, enjoy a warm outdoor shower before you return to the house.

The deck is set up with propane BBQ for outdoor cooking, lounge chairs, and plenty of seating.  Enjoy the sunrise from the private deck off the master bedroom.  All year fun and enjoyment is available at Sunshine Point, whether you're in the sun, watching bird and marine wildlife, or just sitting by the cozy two story fireplace with your favorite book.  This bright, airy home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably.  The living room has pine vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.  Whether you enjoy indoor or outdoor dining, you won't miss a moment of our fabulous Hood Canal sunsets!  In the winter, it's fun to watch the weather roll by, especially from the warmth of your perch by the fireplace.  The house sits well back from the road right along the bulkhead.  At different times of the year, our resident seals, herons, loons, bald eagles, spawning salmon and orca whales provide "unplugged" entertainment that's a world away from our fast-paced lives.  

Fully equipped, Sunshine Point is located between Alderbrook Resort and Twanoh State Park on the south shore of Hood Canal.  Twanoh State Park offers picnic facilities, camping and a boat launch.  At Alderbrook Resort you can play a round of golf or enjoy a meal in the new restaurant and bar.  Beautiful rainforest hiking trails are available a short drive away in the Olympic National Forest. 

We invite you to make Sunshine Point your home-away-from-home as you enjoy all that the greater Hood Canal area has to offer.  Guests who stay here usually come back...we hope you will, too.  

No smoking; no pets.  Three-night minimum during peak season.  Sleeping accommodations/occupancy for eight people.  At our discretion, we may consider adding up to two additional children (depending on ages) for additional $20/person/night--total maximum occupancy is ten.  Reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm; final payment is due 30 days before you arrive.  Payments can be made with personal check or VISA/MasterCard (2% processing fee applied).  In case of cancellation, reservations are refundable minus a $150.00 rebooking fee as long as we can rerent the unit.  If we are unable to rerent the unit, the reservation is non-refundable.  Rates do not include a $325.00 refundable security deposit, $125.00 cleaning fee, or 10.4% tax.
