It's time for you to wind down, and the Palm Cottage at Patricia Beach on the south shore of  Hood Canal is the perfect place to do it!  This one level home is perched on the waters edge.  The large outdoor deck area sits atop the rock bulkhead and at high tide you can literally jump off the deck into the water.  At low tide you'll be gathering up all the oysters and clams you can eat for your evening dinner.  You might try your hand at fishing or crabbing in the warm waters of Hood Canal, or bring your own steaks and cook them up on the propane barbeque.  Summer fun is what the Palm Cottage is all about.  In the winter time, cozy up to the propane fireplace and watch the storms blow by.

Palm Cottage is located adjacent to Donald Creek which brings a freshwater bath over the saltwater oysters--we're told they're the best tasting anywhere!  This is truly the Pacific Northwest at its best!  Enjoy indoor or outdoor dining and views of the Olympic Mountains as the sun sets in the west.  Or enjoy watching the resident otters, seals, herons, kingfishers, loons and eagles with an occasional visit by Orca whales.  Hood Canal is one of the warmest saltwater bodies of water in Puget Sound!  For water fun, feel free to enjoy our paddle boat or, if you have your own boat, take advantage of the mooring buoy in front of the Palm Cottage.

The 2 bedroom house is light and airy with vaulted ceilings in the great room and water views from most rooms.  There is a large living room with a propane fireplace and a large dining room that takes full advantage of the views.  We have a game nook for rainy day fun, complete with playing cards and game boards.  With two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), and a sofa sleeper in the living room, there is sleeping room for six.

Patricia Beach is conveniently located between Twanoh State Park and the newly remodeled Alderbrook Resort, just 11 miles south of Belfair.  At the Alderbrook Resort you can take advantage of the restaurant/bar, spa services and the renowned Alderbrook Golf Club which is an 18 hole course.  Twanoh State Park is a 182 acre marine park with camping and boat launch.

No pets; no smoking.  Reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm; final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.  Payment can be made with personal check or VISA/Mastercard for an additional 2% processing fee.  In case of cancellation, reservations are refundable minus $150.00 rebooking fee as long as we can rerent the unit.  If we are unable to rerent the unit, the reservation is nonrefundable.  Rates listed above are for up to 4 people; additional people can be added for $20.00 a night per person up to 6 people maximum in the home.  A $250.00 refundable security deposit is required.  Rates do not include 10.4% tax and a $100.00 cleaning fee.
