Our two cozy, tastefully remodeled beach cottages are situated in a quiet family compound, one of the largest and most unique properties on Hood Canal. This is where family memories are made and friendships are forged.

The Sun Beach Cottages are on the North Shore of Hood Canal, a mile from Belfair State Park, just 90 minutes to downtown Seattle by car and twenty minutes to the Bremerton ferry to Seattle. This is the warm and sheltered end of the Canal, a secluded jewel ideal for swimming and watersports. Low tide exposes acres of clam and oyster beds and a sandbar that extends to the end of our 480-foot dock. The sandbar provides safe wading and endless marine exploration for the kids. The dock's two large floats are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, docking a ski boat or launching our paddle boat or kayaks. There are mooring buoys and the public boat launch is just one mile away. This is where family memories are made and friendships forged. Rent one or both cottages for a week or three night minimum. In addition to the beach activities, there is a large grass playfield ideal for volleyball, badminton, croquet or ball sports. A separate recreation hall has ping pong, foosball, air hockey and a slot car track. The Heron has two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with a twin trundle bed, full bath, fireplace, living room and den with a daybed/couch. French doors open to the large sun deck, lawn and the beach, all ideal for outdoor barbecues or just relaxing with a favorite book. The Eagle has one bedroom with a king bed, a full bath, a large sleeping loft with two twin trundle beds (sleeps 4) and a futon/couch in the living room. It is comfortable and airy, perfect for families or a couple. Activities on site or nearby include hiking, mountain biking, shellfish and crabbing, fishing, restaurants and shops in Belfair, boating, sailing, waterskiing.

NO PETS and NO SMOKING. 3-night minimum stay. Reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm, final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made with personal check or with credit card for an additional 2% processing fee. In case of cancellation, reservations are refundable minus a $150.00 rebooking fee as long as we can rerent the unit. If we are unable to rerent the unit, the reservation is nonrefundable. A $500.00 security deposit is required and a $100.00 cleaning fee for each cottage. Rates do not include 10.4% tax.
