Treasure Island residents and visitors know it is a special place--you'll be hooked, too, as you relax and explore this oasis.  Located in Case Inlet off Grapeview Loop Road just south of the village of Allyn and roughly 35 miles from Tacoma or Olympia, you'll see why it's often called a "Paradise on Puget Sound".  Picture this...you patiently wait for the stoplight to turn green signaling your turn to cross the one-lane bridge onto the island, turn down the driveway to the beach house nestled beneath towering fir trees.  "Mmmm, this is nice...", you think as you step out of the car.  Then you notice it--that wonderful sound of...nothing.  Who couldn't relax here?

This charming beach home, perched high above the beach on 60 feet of waterfront, faces west to take full advantage of the view and for maximum enjoyment of the sunsets.  Follow the stairs or path through the attractive landscaping to the level picnic/firepit area and just a few steps down to the clean gravel beach. 

Your beach house comes complete with everything you'll need for a hassle-free vacation.  Bring your groceries and personal items and move right on in!  The charming beach decor reflects the owner's love for this place and you'll find amenities and special touches to make you feel at home.  This home sleeps six comfortably in two bedrooms--one with a queen bed on the main level, the second with two twin beds located in the lower level.  A queen-sized sofa sleeper in the family room downstairs completes the sleeping accommodations.  Two fireplaces provide you with the ultimate in coziness.  Cable TV and wireless Internet allow you to be plugged in as little or as much as you like.  It's a great vacation home for families or couples.

If you can pull yourself away from the beach house, there's plenty to explore close by.  Take a walk around the friendly island (it's not that big!) and enjoy the flowerbeds and velvet green lawns the residents so proudly tend.  Enjoy the shimmering waters of Case Inlet the way the residents do--shellfish gathering, sailing, boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and more.  There are wonderful golf courses nearby including the public course at LakeLand Village in Allyn, and the PGA-class course at the Alderbrook Resort on the South Shore of Hood Canal near Union, about 1/2 hour drive.  Don't miss a visit to Susan's floating gift store on the dock at lovely Fair Harbor Marina, just a pleasant walk or bike ride away (you can see the Marina from your beach).  Also nearby are privately owned vineyards and wineries, an old fashioned blacksmith shop and gallery, a chainsaw carving museum, as well as shopping and dining in Belfair, Shelton, Olympia, and Bremerton.  The Tahuya Forest is known for its ATV trails and the Theler Wetlands nature preserve and walking trails in Belfair are a "must see".  A mesmerizing evening fire near the beach, complete with stories and s'mores, is the perfect end to any day at the beach.

No smoking; no pets.  Reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm; final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.  Payment can be made with personal check or with credit card for an additional 2% processing fee.  In case of cancellation, reservations are refundable minus a $150.00 rebooking fee as long as we can rerent the unit.  If we are unable to rerent the unit, the reservation is nonrefundable.  Rates do not include $250.00 refundable security deposit, $100.00 cleaning fee, and 10.4% sales tax.
